MAKE UP PRACTICAL’S FROM THE HAIR AND BEAUTY SALON CLASS AT WAYE FOUNDATION

Today we begin make up practical’s at waye foundation as a part of our curriculum in the hair dressing department. Our trainees have been introduced to the theory of makeup, they have been taught the various tools and skills required for applying makeup.

During the practical class, ten students each are placed in a group to work together, with each student serving as a model and a makeup artist. Group A started with the following students serving as models and makeup artist.

Model 2 Nanwon Nanlok and Diana Dalyop makeup artist

Model 3 Chungdung Bulus James and Bunte Alkamu makeup artist

Model 4 Christiana Pam Ruwang and Felicia Pam makeup artist

Model 5 Sarah Kankani and Astira Aaron makeup artist

The outcome of this exercise can be judged by you. It’s obvious though that some of these trainees who came to waye foundation without a single knowledge of what makeup is? Some have never seen makeup besides power are equipped with a skill that they could use to support themselves and their community.
