WAYE FOUNDATION CONDUCTS COMMUNITY PEER EDUCATION TRAINING

As part of the HIV and AIDs awareness campaign program to be conducted by Waye foundation in six communities in Jos North Government Area, the foundation conducted a (PE) peer education training for 30 youths from the benefiting communities

The Peer Education Training is design to build the capacity of the youths serving as (Peer Educators) on issues associated with HIV/AIDS and how they can effectively communicate this issue with their community being the first respondent

(1) HIV/AIDS Fundamentals 
(2) HIV/AIDS Prevention 
(3) How to use condoms safely
(4) HIV/AIDS Counselling
(5) Effective Communication skills
(6) Testing for HIV

PEs are a major part of the sustainability plan for the program, they will serve as the link between the organization and the community.
