WAYE FOUNDATION FOUNDER VISITS NYSC CAMP IN JOS, PLATEAU STATE

The founder of waye foundation Ngo Talatu Jang and some staff visited the NYSC orientation camp in Barikin Ladi LGA Plateau State. The purpose of the visit was to welcome the serving youths sent to the state, to introduce the organization and its activities as well as provide HIV /AIDS as well as basic health education to the youths.

In her address the founder of waye foundation stated that youths of Nigeria are tasked with the responsibility of bring change to the nation but, first this change must start within them. She further emphasis the need for youths to work hard and acquire basic skills that could help them earn extra income and fight poverty beside their formal education.

In response to the remarks of Ngo Talatu Jang, the Camp Management in a goodwill massage thank the founder and waye foundation for coming. She stated that “waye foundation is the first organization to have visited the camp to bring hope and encouragement to the youth corp members, bringing gifts and food items”.

The highlights of the event include cultural dances by the youth corp members, marching parade, HIV/AID seminar and exchange of gift between waye foundation and the management of the NYSC Camp.
